Online shops

An online store website that takes payment in rand

An online store website built on WooCommerce, with a South African payment gateway, delivery options and stock you can manage yourself. From R3499, live in seven days once we have your products.

It suits shops selling tens of products rather than thousands, which covers most of the small businesses that ask us.

Why an online store website beats selling only on social media

Selling through Instagram or WhatsApp works until it does not. Every order is a conversation, payment is chased by hand, and nothing you post is found on Google next year.

An online store website takes the orders while you sleep. Customers see the price, pay by card and get an email confirmation, and you get a clear list of what to pack.

It also gets found. Each product and category page can rank on Google for what people search, especially if the product descriptions are written properly rather than copied from the supplier.

Our eCommerce package is R3499 for five to ten pages, a product shop, a payment gateway and an SEO setup. Larger catalogues are quoted in writing first.

How an online store website project runs

1. Message us. Send what your business does and what you need, on WhatsApp or by email. You get a price and a date in writing, usually the same day.

2. Free prototype. We look at your competitors and build a working version before you pay anything. If it is not right, you walk away owing nothing.

3. The build. Once you approve the prototype and send your content, a standard site takes three days and an online shop takes seven.

4. Handover. The domain and hosting are registered in your name, and you get the logins plus a short walk-through of the editor.

An online store website follows the same four steps as every site we build, with seven days for the build instead of three.
